Doug is an artist with wide-ranging talents. Doug prominently features the four elements in his work: earth, water, air, and fire.

Doug is an experienced TV and movie special effects designer and has worked on local productions including: West Wing, Washington Square, Hair Spray, and Enemy of the State.

More recently Doug has begun to incorporate green technologies into his works and is involved in Green Arts projects around Baltimore. Doug has a keen interest in enviro-remediation art projects for water/soil detoxificatio

Zolt combines his passion for photography, his professional astronomy background and his guru-level programming skills to do a job that is the envy of many of us. Zolt is the guy who--working with scientists and technical professions--produces the "pretty pictures" from the Hubble Space Telescope that adorn countless magazine covers and web sites. One of his recent efforts is working as a member of Hubble Heritage Team, which strives to showcase the finest images made by the Hubble Space Telescope.

From pen to pixel: KAL is spearheading the evolution of political satire. KAL employs a system of interactive, 3-D animations to move political cartoons off the op-ed page and into 21st century. Betascape



Betascape 2011 is a multi-day experience designed to bring artists and technologists together to Learn & Connect to Create. Attendees will participate in one day of learning and workshopping and a one-day CreateCamp.  The goal is to inspire artists and technologists to innovate at the intersection of art and technology in a whole new way.

Betascape also aims to drive greater economic development for Baltimore by attracting and retaining technologists, artists and new companies. Betascape will be held from September 23 - 25th 2011 on Station North in Baltimore, Maryland.
